Key Stage Two go to India
In Geography this term we are studying the ways of life in India. We decided to link with a school in North East India. KS2 pupils at Shaw Primary School wrote Christmas cards to the children in Churachandpur near Manipur. After the holidays we received letters from them. We were so amazed at the length of the letters we burst with excitement reading them!
We found out a lot about how the children live and Mr Alan Hobbs visited us with interesting information and photos of the children in the home. We are now writing emails to the children, hoping that this will speed up the communication with our new friends.
