SUMMER TERM

Welcome to the Summer Term! We have lots of fun and exciting things coming up so keep an eye out for some photos. Our new topic this term is the Romans so we will be finding out lots of information about how they lived including what they wore, the food and drink they consumed, what their army was like and how some of the things they invented are still part of our lives today. We have linked this to our Art topic and will be creating some factastic art attacks of a Roman soldier. In Science we are learning all about our amazing bodies and how we can keep ourselves healthy. 

SPRING TERM

This term in 3C, we will be beginning our new Topic- 'Our Living Planet' focusing on our local area of South Ockendon. The children will be using their geography skills to take a more in depth look at the area they live in. In Science, we will be starting our new unit of Light so keep an eye out for pictures of our experiments. PE days are the same as last term, Wednesday and Friday. Don't forget to bring those water bottles and to regularly read at home!

EDDIE THE ELF HAS ARRIVED!

We had a new member of our class arrive today.....Eddie the Elf! He wrote 3C a letter and was so kind and brought everyone some sweets. We have heard he is a little naughty so Miss Clark is a bit worried! Check out what he gets up to every day right here!

AUTUMN TERM

This Term our topic is the Ancient Egyptians. We are going to be learning all about this period in history and even linking this to our art lessons this term too. Keep an eye out for some pictures of our amazing learning.

ART: We had lots of fun making some Egyptians Canopic Jars out of clay in our art lessons. We researched, designed and then made our very own! Take a look!

SCIENCE: Our new topic is Forces. We had lots of fun exploring the force of push which involved a malteasers race!
