We started this term by learning about place value to 5 digits. We are now able to identify the value of given digits, compare using symbols and to order numbers in different ways.
We were able to use this knowledge to add and subtract larger numbers using mental and written methods.
Next we learned what area is and how to efficiently count squares to find areas.
Our current unit is multiplication and division. We are learning ways we can use tables facts we know, to quickly calculate other tables facts. We are aiming to learn all of our tables this year and this will help us to do this.
Learning our multiplications!
We love to sing times table songs- Sing-a-long too!
