Our topic for the spring term is 'commotion in the ocean'. We will be reading lots of books about water, the sea, rockpools and discover various sea creatures.

In Nursery our topic for Autumn is 'Marvellous Me and My Community'. This topic is a great opportunity to find out about your child/children. Through play and discussions, we will be learning about -

• Celebrations 

We will have Show and Tell on a Wednesday.

Children in Need 2021

The children came to school in their pyjamas for children in need and made a donation. They also enjoyed taking part in lots of different activities in class from the children in need official website.

Spring Term

Our Topic: The Snail and the Whale

This term our topic is based on the well know story ' The Snail and the Whale', written by Julia Donaldson. As we read and take a journey through the book we will look at all the places visited through the story. This topic will provide an excellent opportunity for your child to learn about nature and the world in which we live. 

Through various activities, play, stories and discussion we will learn about - 

• Ponds, Rockpools and under the sea

• Cold places and warm places (Icebergs and Islands)

• Mountains

• EcoSystems

Nursery PE day : Wednesday

Please dress your child in shoes and sock they can take off and put on independently

Nursery Show and Tell day : Wednesday

The children can bring something in from home to show and tell e.g. photo, map of a place visited, ticket for bus ride, some thing they have made.
