Welcome to our Class Page

Our topic this half term is Mini-beasts.

We have been so busy so far this half term. We have been finding out all about mini-beasts.

Mrs Melvin was lucky to have caught a Dragon Fly, we gave him some sugar water and let him recover in our Mini-beast net. We then went out and released him so he could go and find a new home. Take a look at some of the photos...

Tropical Wings

We had the most amazing time on our day trip out to Tropical Wings. We were lucky with the weather and we got to see so many different animals and mini-beasts. Please take the time to watch the slideshow below of some of the pictures taken from the day.

Eric Carle reads The Very Hungry Caterpillar

We have been reading lots of different stories and information books about Mini-beasts. Our favourite is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. We have been using our recall skills to write our own books of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". We had to try and remember all the different foods that he ate. Can you remember them?
