Our topic this term is Minibeasts!
We will be learning about different minibeasts, creating our own insects, going on bug hunts and much, much more! We love this topic already.
Have a look at the spiders we have made by cutting out a body and adding 8 legs and 2 eyes. Some of us decided to make a pattern with thier legs. Can you spot it?
We have also been drawing spiders. To do this we first watched a video all about spiders and then independently found spiders in books about minibeasts.
Here are some of the pictures and information we have created about minibeasts. We have added them to our Minibeast Investigation Area and will be continuing to do this as we learn more about minibeasts.
In maths we havve been learning about repeating patterns. We created our own repeating patterns on caterpillars.
