PE is on Thursday and Friday. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school.
They will need shorts/tracksuit bottoms, a t-shirt and trainers/plimsoles.
Book bags with reading books and reading records need to be in school everyday.
Spring Term
This term our topic is Dinosaurs! We will be finding out about different types of dinosaurs, where they lived, what they ate and how they became fossils. We are very excited about our new topic!
We have added clay and other materials to our dinosaur habitats to make them more realistic. We have used different tools and techniques. Here we are hard at work:
We have been looking at information books and finding out facts about dinosaurs. Here is some independent writing we have done.
In Art we have been creating dinosaur habitats using lots of different materials.
In PE we are very lucky to have 2 special Gymnastics coaches who are teaching us lots of new skills. Have a look at what we have been learning so far!
Our topic this term is 'All Around the World'. We have decided we would like to learn about hot and cold countries and place you can go on holiday.
In maths we have been counting in 5's.
In DT we have been tasting bread in preparation to make our own. We discussed which bread we liked and did not like.
We have made bread. We learned how to mixed the ingredients and follow the recipe exactly.
In PE we have been throwing and catching large balls.
