In EYFS this term we will be learning about the farm. The children will have various opportunities to find out more about farm animals, crops and farm machinery, including fiction and non-fiction texts, stories, rhymes and songs. Alongside this, we will make the most of the summer weather to learn about how plants grow, planting flowers and vegetables. This will all build up to the children setting up their own farmers market with the products that they designed and made. We are also going to learn about minibeasts and life cycles through real-life observation.
Our journey through the world to “Celebrate our Community” will continue, in order to give the children a better understanding of the cultures, traditions and beliefs of others.
