Welcome to the Summer Term!
Our topic this term is 'Our Local Area'. We are working towards building our own improved South Ockendon that other children will be invited to come and see. We will create our improved South Ockendon with our learning about what South Ockendon offers and what it is missing.
In Outdoor PE, we are working on our dribbling skills. In Indoor PE we are working on sequencing moves together.

Welcome to the Spring Term!
Our topic this term is 'Dinosaurs'. We are working towards creating our own museum that other children will be invited to visit. We will fill this museum with our learning about dinosaurs and their habitats. We are also going to be learning about fossils and the three periods of the Mesozoic Era.
In Outdoor PE, we are working on our catching skills. In Indoor PE we are working on our balance and movement skills.

In Science Week we learnt about neurons and how our brains work
In Maths we have been investigating capacity
We met 2 real life dinosaurs!
We studied dinosaur bones in our workshop!

We enjoyed our visit to the local library
We enjoyed our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory workshop

We explored different textures. Then we chose our favourite one and created our habitat floor.

We have been adding stones, trees, volcanoes and waterfalls to our dinosaur habitats.
Welcome to the Autumn Term!
Our topic this term is 'Around The World'. We have been learning that there are 7 continents and 5 oceans. We have also been learning about the 4 parts that make up the UK and their capital cities.
In Science, we are learning all about habitats. We have been matching animals to their habitats and looking at photographs of animals in their habitats.
In Outdoor PE, we are working on our ball skills. In Indoor PE we are being taught by an external gymnastics coach.

In Gymnastics we have been learning how to balance with our partner safely.

In Topic we have been learning about the 7 continents and 5 oceans! We used this information to make a 3D world.
We have been enjoying our time at the library bus!
