Meet 3I's Reading Buddies:

Every Wednesday during Guided Reading, We have the opportunity of sharing books with our class reading buddies. We use 'colourful magic stick' to point at the words while our partner reads. This helps us to keep track of the reading with our partner. It is always fun to share books with one another as we learn from each other.

Young First Aiders in action:

Below, children were putting into action what they learned during KS2 First Aid training. Children were learning what's inside First Aid kit, how and when to use recovery position and coping with emergency situation.

Peer coaching:

Did you know that you can use things around you when you are stuck or better still, ask a friend for help? In 3I, children are always willing to support each other's learning. Below are pictures of peer coaching in action.

We have been learning about properties of 2D and 3D shapes in 3I. Children were sorting shapes using different criteria. (Pictures to follow)

Literacy

We are learning about journalistic writing in Literacy. Children had the opportunity of re-enacting different events from Egyptian Times and they created freeze frame from their events. Below are some of the freeze frame created by children which will be used when writing captions for their own newspaper report.
