This term we have done so much learning! Our topics have been Transport and People who Help us.
We have been creating different types of transport usinig 2D and 3D shapes. We have been using the names of the shapes and talking about their properties.
We have become scientists. We tested which objects floated and which ones sunk.
In PE we have been balancing on benches and moving in different ways.
In maths we have been learning about positional and directional langauge such as forwards, backwards, next to, on top of. We have moved Fred the Frog around the box and programmed Bee-Bots to demonstrate this language.
We combined Maths and PE and used the parachute to move objects around 'on top of' it and play games 'underneath' it.
For World Book Day we did lots of different activities such as reading our favourite stories and meeting a real life Author. We also dressed up as characters from our favourite books.
