Our topic is "In the Woods".

We are learning all about Autumn and what happens in Autumn.

In maths we are learning about numbers and how to match the correct number of objects to the written number...

We have been looking at the changes in Autumn and all the different colours you can see. Have a look at some of our Autumn pictures we created...

We have been developing our knowledge of stories and retelling them. One of our favourites is "We're going on a Bear Hunt" by Michael Rosen. We performed this in our Reception assembly.

For a quarter of a century, readers have been swishy-swashying and splash-sploshing through the award-winning favourite picture book We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen, illustrated by Helen Oxenbury In this video, Michael Rosen performs the book - why not sing along with your copy at home!

We changed the part of the story to make our own. We changed what we were looking for. Here is a list of different characters we looked for:
