5J have started reading The Black Hole Cinema Club by Christopher Edge. This is a story which is keeping us on the edge of our seats! The main characters visit their local cinema for a movie marathon in the new state of the art screen. They are sucked into the movie and find themselves living as the main characters in a film and have to save the world. We are loving the way the author creates lots of tension and have been left eagerly awaiting reading the next part after we finished on a cliff hanger,

In 5K we have started reading Varjack Paw, a story about a young cat who has lived in a house all his life. He is venturing outside for the first time and must navigate the dangerous city streets, all the while trying to solve the mysterious vanishings of other street cats. We are very excited about the premise of this book.
