Welcome to the Summer Term!
Science
Wonderful Weather
We will be looking at weather forecasts and making our own videos of weather forecasts. Children will have the opportunity to make weather observations and make collages about the seasons. We will make a class weather station that can measure rainfall, wind direction and temperature.
ICT
Children will have the opportunity to be introduced to the principles of coding, using the age-appropriate ScratchJr software.

'Nature Sculptures'
The children will have the opportunity to learn about different kinds of nature sculptures and to explore the work of Andy Goldsworthy and other environmental artists.

OUR WORLD BOOK DAY 2023
Welcome to our Spring Term 
We hope you had a wonderful time and now you are ready to continue your learning journey. Our Topic for the Spring Term is local history. We will be learning about our local area what it was then and now. In Science we will be discovering different materials and their properties. In Art we are going to play with different colours.

Our PE days are as follows:
Mondays - outdoor PE
Friday - indoor PE ( gymnastic coaches)
Our ART work while using paints for shades and shapes.

We look forward to learning and working :)
Our Topic this year is travelling across the UK , giving directions and getting to know our local area. We will be looking at the maps and follow directions.
In Science we will be learning about our senses and how they help us to explore the world.
Art is going to be a great fun as we will be drawing a portrait!
