We are currently learning about fractions in year 5, this will include learning about equivalent fractions, converting mixed numbers and improper fractions, comparing and ordering fractions and finally adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers.
We will be using our times tables that we have learned previously to help us in this unit.
Here are some examples of how to find equivalent fractions and how to convert an improper fraction to a mixed number.
