Spring Term
As we move through the term, we will be moving onto decimals and percentages and identifying the relationship between all three. We will use prior knowledge of the four operations to add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals! Following this, we will move onto Ratio, Algebra, Area and Perimeter.
Autumn Term
In Maths, we started the year building on our knowledge from Year 5 of place value. Take a look at what we covered at the beginning of the year and get some tips from the unit posters!
We then moved on to the four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Our next step was moving on to fractions and applying our skills from the four operations unit to: add, subtract, multiply, divide, order and simplify a range of fractions and mixed numbers.
