We have been learning how to create sliders, levers and wheels in DT. We chose our favourite mechanism to make our own moving picture!
We finished our science unit about the properties of materials by demonstrating what we had learnt about which materials can twist, bend or stretch.

2M were really lucky to get a visit from Fry and share our Imaginary Creature stories with him! Here we are showing him our writing- do you think he likes them?
2M launched the second half of our geography unit by taking a flight to Kenya! Check us out on Shaw Airways. We flew over Africa seeing the sights out of our aeroplane window landing safely in Nairobi, Kenya.
We created a model of Ockendon in the hall for Fry to come and visit it. We made lots of the human features that we saw on our local area walk and then gave Fry a guided tour using our map skills.
In 2M in autumn 1 our music unit was about learning to improvise along with the song "Rhythm in the way we walk". Check us our practising our improvisation skills.
Autumn 2 - Geograqphy. 2T created a map and named the 5 oceans.
Fry visit - Science. Autumn 1 we have been learning about healthy animals. Fry visited our class, so we could find out about Fry as a puppy and as an adult dog.
