DT - Programming
ART - Seaside Art inspired by Alfred Wallis
Climate Change- Here are some of our finished animal fact files which outline how climate change is negatively impacting their lives. Take a read!
Indoor PE- Coming up with our own 2, 3 and 4 point balances during our rhythmic gymnastics unit.
Climate Change- We have started to research animals who are currently being negatively impacted by climate change. We are eventually going to be creating some animal fact files outlining all the ways they are being affected and what we can do as humans to try and stop this. Keep an eye out for our finished fact files.
AUTUMN TERM
Exploring Structures - DT
We completed our marble runs yesterday and finalised our evaluations. We discussed how we needed to adapt our designs and think innovatively when ideas did not go to plan. Take a look at our finished products!
Computing - Kodu Programming.
Each week, we have been building on a new skill in order to make a race track on Kodu and create a code to make a character to move in a specific way around a race track. Take a look at our learning so far.
English: Here are some of our final poems from our English poetry unit- Black Lives Matter. In these poems, we were trying to create imagery by using figurative language when discussing the theme of racism and putting a stop to this. Take a read!
In Computing, we are learning how to program using the software Kodu. We learnt the When and Do functions this week and programmed our character to move and eat apples!
