In 2M in Summer we are currently reading The Creakers by Tom Fletcher!

Imagine if one day you woke up and all the grown-ups had vanished.

That's what happened to Lucy Dungston. She's the hero of this story (but she doesn't know it yet).

All the other kids in Whiffington are excited- no more grown ups means no more school! No more bedtime! No more rules!

But Lucy just wants her mum back. So, to find her, Lucy sets out on an unbelieveable adventure into a topsy-turvy, inside-out world....a world that's been underneath her bed the whole time.

In 2T in Summer 1 we are currently reading "Danny Champion of the World" by Roald Dahl.

Danny thinks his dad is the most marvellous and exciting father a boy could wish for. Life is happy and peaceful in their caravan, until one day Danny discovers his dad has been breaking the law. What's more, soon Danny has to join his father as they attempt to pull off a daring and devilish plot against their horrible, greedy neighbour, Mr Victor Hazell.

In year two we also use lots of other different reading materials to support us with our learning.

In science we will be using books about materials.

In our geography climate change lessons we will be reading about Greta Thunberg.

We also use articles on Lyfta for a range of different lessons.
